Evidence Section
The two-man Evidence Unit receives, stores, and maintains all of the evidence taken into custody by the entire Sheriff's Office. Additionally, this section handles found items, impounded vehicles, and pieces of property held for safekeeping. For the year 2006, the unit took in 11,827 pieces of evidence and property.
