The Telephone Reporting System serves as a vital and demanding function. Few positions at the Sheriff's Office are as broad in scope as those of persons assigned to T.R.S. duty.
Attention to detail and maintaining a positive attitude is of paramount importance to those who work in this position.
Taking case reports of crimes, via telephone, in which there is NO suspect information, invariably consumes a large amount of the shift. Telephone call referral as well as answering the myriad of questions from the public we serve also takes a large amount of knowledge and time.
